STYLE ICON OF THE MONTH: JEFF GOLDBLUM
Perhaps the best dressed man in Hollywood. An actor who really knows how to wear a suit and tie. Steal some of his coolest style tricks as we take a deeper look into his style.
If you not already are familiar with Jeff Goldblum, do yourself a favor and become it. Not only because he has been cool in more than four decades in Hollywood. No, because of the way he dress. He is perhaps the coolest guy in Hollywood if you just look at how he put his clothes together. So for us, it was an obvious choice today – to make mr. Goldblum style icon of the month. But what is it that he does so well? We took a look…
1. The Patterned Shirt & Solid Tie-combination
Lets be honest. Most times we wear a shirt and tie, it’s often the white or blue shirt we put on. Not a bad choice at all, as it looks cool the most of the times. But that is apparently too ordinary for Mr. Goldblum. He often rocks a patterned shirt. And what he does next is so smart – he pairs it with a solid tie to tone the shirt down. So now you know how you can add some serious pattern to your suit-and-tie-look.
2. The Cool and Casual
But it is not just when he rocks a suit and tie he looks cool. No, he masters the art of the casual style. And doing it in a pretty simple way. A killer bomber, a hat or a polo and jeans to go underneath his blazer. Take notes, gentlemen.
3. The Wool Tie
We have said it over and over again. The wool tie is such a cool way to dress for the season. And Mr. Goldblum knows it too. The grey wool tie is just a classic and can be worn with most. Even together with your coolest suit on the red carpet.
4. Mix and Match
When you wear a tie, you can actually with great benefit mix and match your wardrobe. Like pairing one of the blazers in your wardrobe together with a rugged pair of chinos. It makes it a little less stiff and formal and gives you more freedom when you have to choose which shoes and tie to go with it. Mr. Goldblum rocks some rock’n’roll loafers and a striped tie – all in colors that compliments both the blue-grey’ish chinos and the dark blazer.
