STYLE ICON OF THE MONTH: RYAN REYNOLDS

Deadpool 2 is in the theaters. But the man behind the movie, Ryan Reynolds knows more than just making a great movie. He knows how to get dressed.

Ryan Reynolds. Most of us knows him. Perhaps for his acting. Perhaps for his quit envious look. Or the fact that he dates one of the most beautiful women of Hollywood, Blake Lively. But like that wasn’t enough, he sure knows how to get dressed. And if by dressing the way he does will help you get a women like her, you should start doing that ASAP. Here are some of the reasons why we believe that Mr. Ryan Reynolds is a true style icon.

1. Keeping Things Casual With A Knitted Tie

This look is just perfect (except from him not buttoning the last button of his shirt). A classic pair of trousers and wool coat, a white shirt and then paired with a knitted tie to keep it casual. If he would have paired this look with a striped silk tie for example, his look would have been much more formal than it is here. Copy this whenever you can.

2. Tone in Tone

People don’t do this enough. Next time you wear your navy suit, do like Mr. Reynolds and add a dark blue shirt to it. It creates a clean look that is in great balance and it will make you stand out in a crowd full of navy suits paired with white and lightblue shirts.

3. Layering With A V-Neck or Cardigan

It’s one of those simple tricks anyone can do. Wear a suit and create a layer with a V-neck sweater like here, or a cardigan of you prefer that. Just make sure that your sweater compliments the rest of the suit.

4. The Navy Suit With The All-Navy Knit Tie

It doesn’t need much explanation. This works every single time. Period.

5. His Smart-Casual Style

It’s an art, but when done correctly like here, it’s one of those looks you can’t put a finger on. A pair of cropped navy suitpants paired with brown leather shoes, an checked shirt that is just open enough that it’s not too much, a summer-ish blazer and of course a pocket square. Copy this next time you get an invitation that says the dresscode is ‘smart-casual’.

The Weekend Style

If you have a great suede jacket in your closet, your almost all set. Wear it with some chinos that fits you perfectly, a pair of white sneakers and a white t-shirt (or oxford button-down shirt) and you are there. This style is cool every saturday and sunday for the rest of your life.
