EDITORIAL: SUMMER NIGHTS WITH THE BOYS
A new editorial is here. We teamed up with great friends of the house (all impeccable dressers too) to celebrate summer and the launch of the new collection. Petanque, great wines and awesome summer style. This is how it looked like.
There is something special about summer nights. They are often full of spontaneity, lots of laughs and great conversations over a glass of great (rosé) win. And this was just it. And it was surely one for the books. We had invited a bunch of great friends of the house over for a play of petanque, great bottles of wine from Erik Sørensen and a look at the new collection.
Nothing big, nothing complicated – just a bunch of well-dressed men enjoying Copenhagen during summer. And with a crowd like this that all dresses so impressive, we of course had to get house photographer, Victor Jones over to document the impeccable summer style. In sum, a bunch of our favorite style moves can be seen here: linen blazers, white jeans, loafers, double breasted blazers, italian socks and rolled up sleeves. Enjoy the rest of the summer, gentlemen.
Ruben Bellman (Instagram: @rubenbellman) showing how easy it can be done during summer. White jeans, suede loafers, a striped blue shirt with rolled up sleeves and a all navy tie. Mads Jeberg (Instagram: mkjeberg) showcasing an alternative way – but just as cool – with an all linen suit from Oscar Jacobson. Paired perfectly with a blue oxford button down shirt and a Ivy League-inspired silk tie.
Green tones were (of course) also a vital part of the way of dressing this evening. One half of the cool @brothersmarfil André pairing his linen blazer with the dusted green/blue striped tie. Jon (Instagram: @portraitdelhomme) on the other hands compliments his army green blazer with the army green silk tie with floral pattern. Two great ways to add one of the key colors the last couple of seasons to your tailored looks.
White/beige trousers is perhaps one of our most trusted ways to dress during summer and these two looks will never fall short. Housemodel Mikkel Skipper (Instagram: @miklskipper) wears his with a crisp shite shirt, a striped navy tie, suede loafers and a complimentary belt. Cool cat, Martin Qvist (Instagram: @qvistjr) chose to rock stripes on stripes with a classic striped button down shirt and our striped grey silk/linen tie. Of course with his beloved hat on to give the look a cool edge.
We (founders, Nikolaj and Alexander) had of course also dressed up for the occasion. Alexander rocked one of his favorite blazers for the summer, the camel blazer, and went for an all preppy look with the bordeaux striped tie. The two colors compliment each other amazingly and with a white pocket square in the pocket it’s a sure thing. Nikolaj showed that it is possible to mix patterns without it looking all confused. He wore a summer-patterned double breasted blazer and paired it with the always cool navy silk tie.
